Morning run and stretches

Orienteering race 25:00 [5]

World cup sprint final. tough hilly race and much longer than expected. Did ok, but didn't make decisions fast enough and felt quite tired on the hills. Finished 34th. Moderately happy with my run.. Good reminder of how much work i have to do to get properly fit again.

Easy run and some stretching

Orienteering race 16:37 [5]

World cup sprint qual. Very tricky area and heaps of fun. Felt quite good running and got the good route choices - just need to be faster! Only problem was not being able to see the map change cos it was hidden around the corner.

Orienteering race 57:00 [5]

World cup middle. Good start, 14th after 4, but then couldn't interpret the dunes mapping at 5. From then on had a heap of dumb mistakes cos I really could understand the mapping. 12 mins all up, and a really shit result in the end. Oh well.

Cruise around the world cup model event, looks tricky, but fun. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Orienteering race 1:01:40 [4] 8.4 km (7:20 / km)

Day 1 of the Oceania carnival. Awesome open pine forest with sand dunes. Had a good clean run except for a couple of controls where i wasn't paying enough attention. Got in a group with mace and grace and ran the second part together.

Sprint training at the botanic gardens. Very tricky and confusing.
