Mendon north and south to the shelter west of pond road. 46 deg, wind ne @ 7 mph. The rain they predicted never came so it ended up being a nice day.

Dryer road with Stina. around 55 deg. Nice day and good trail conditions. Rode the 29 which definitely has a different feel then the 27.5, on the tight, slow sections of trail., requires more turning into the turn. Left leg and knee felt good.

The root stock ramble at Durand. The left knee and leg felt good. the knee brace started to lock up about 1/3 of the way through the course. The usylingo app worked reasonably well, but there were 2 obvious controls that were a problem. There are a lot more root stocks then what is shown on the map. many have been reduced in size over time. Walked the course to give the knee/leg more time to recover. Lots of stretching after finishing.

A new solo-o at mendon. Nice day, open woods, no bugs. It was great to have the controls marked with flags (new). It seemed like it could be called the earth day course as it seemed to "reuse" (reduce, reuse, recycle) a lot of old controls. Walked the course to rest the leg and knee.

North part of Mendon with Stina. A shorter and easier ski than normal to see how my back and leg would reacted. I did set a new record for arriving late, hopefully I can avoid doing that in the future. A bit warm but the not bad. Near the end the pavement was getting wet so the pavement with a high tar content got slippery. A couple of slips but no crashes.

An easy effort to beat the rain and test the left leg. north to kavanaugh south to the flea market and home
. The upper calf, right below the knee, continues to be tight. Stretched after helped but the knee feels loose.
