Attempt to climb Castle Mountain in the Budawangs. Gave up near the top as didn't trust the "rope" that was meant to aid the ascent. Via Tatt. Bring my own rope and gear next time.
Still, wonderful and wild place and we went and pruchased some maps in Canberra on the way home for a return visit when the days are longer. Lacking the odious restrictions, bullshit and crowds associated with the Grampians these days.
