Super easy spin, fair weather biking is close to coming to and end. Leaves were out in full force.

This also marks my bike goal for the year of 1100 miles, which was twice what I managed last year. Pretty happy I got back into biking even it is almost all rail trail. I’ll still get more miles on the trainer, but happy with the amount of outdoor biking this summer :).

First organized race since nain rouge in March. 10k in North park. Goal was 10 min mile pace, which I shattered, but my result was worse than it should be because I made an almost half mile wrong turn (on the second lap, doh!). Felt like I was orienteering (poorly). Good reminder than my brain can’t keep up with my legs without training. Still a fun time and good to get out and be motivated.

I thought I was going to be cold, but once I got out and moving the sun was nice and I stayed warm on the inside, if chilly on the outside. Biking days are probably numbered, so I gotta enjoy it while I can.

Forbes state forest. We were supposed to have Night O out here tonight, but was cancelled due to lack of interest. Decided to come out and check out the park anyway since we had never been here, and make a day of it with a run and a hike. Trails were nice but rocky in areas. Stopped at Beams Rocks view briefly. Pretty flat. Lots more trails to explore, would definitely come back. A week or so early for peak leaf.

Hiking 1:15:06 intensity: (55:00 @1) + (19:13 @2) + (53 @3) 3.83 mi (19:36 / mi) +102m 18:07 / mi

Hike out to wolf rocks. Nice view but it was crowded and not quite peak leaf yet, still lots of green

Rock Climbing 45:00 [3]
shoes: La sportive muira 2

Restarted climbing membership. It felt pretty safe, everyone was good about wearing masks properly. Would have preferred less overall people tho, will have to play with timing to find a good time. Had fun but arms and fingers did not have much in them
