Mid-50s 3 days ago...mid-70s today. Ugh. I felt sluggish, and my time shows that it wasn't just a feeling! I haven't put in enough training time to comfortably handle the climate variations yet.

My hip was a little sore when I was preparing to run, so I skated instead. The distance is just a guess. I was primarily double-poling, trying to get my poles to stick in the asphalt.

8 hours at the county track meet on a cold (50s), cloudy, windy day. The good thing is that my hip wasn't sore when I got home. Hopefully it will be okay tomorrow morning. Pray for sun at sectionals next weekend!

A rare weekday morning run. A chilly start to the day at 50 degrees. Community Center loop.
I seem to have pulled something in the area of my left hip after I finished running. It's a bit of a localized, throbbing pain when I walk. Never had anything like this before that I can recall.

Today was the first time I actually timed my run this year (I lost my watch). I'd like to be back down in the 6 minute range by the Corporate Challenge on June 1. That will be tough!

Biathlon target practice - need to use those skills from the clinic last Saturday before I forget them! Five rounds into each of 4 targets. Last target had 5 shots within about a half dollar. If only I knew what I did different!
