Rode from Mbulwa Lodge near Sabie down into the valley to the Cuddle Puddle dam. Found a few MTB trails here and followed them for a while. Then down into the main valley and up a main forest road to Long Tom tar road, popping out about 4km above Mbulwa. Some serious climbing along the way.

From Mbulwa, across the tar road and up the ridge in the direction of the tower. 25 min of uphill running before turning off the side of the ridge and back down towards the valley. Short climb back into the lodge. More serious hills.

TT is getting very quiet, hardly anyone on the water, so I was on my own after 2 laps. Had Piers about 100m behind for most of the TT and closing towards the end. Got my 3rd fastest time ever.
