TT long: Finally a good race, after all the mistakes in the sprint and middle. Happy I did so well on the long but I hope I can swap my spot on the WOC long with someone to the middle race. I feel like the WOC long is still its own thing and I'm not ready for that yet.

TT relay: so much fun, the terrain was so fast and enjoyable! Our team did so well, we won! 15min after getting our medals, we learned the sad news that Robbie had MPed so we had to hand our medals back... But our team was and still is the best team ever #watchthebreakdown !!

TT middle: what a terrible race!! I started very well, leading in the beginning. Then started making small mistakes almost at every control, just too much hurrying.. Bigger one to 7, just ran past it and went too down... Then same thing to 8. Found my flow after those two again and I could keep it up until 17 where I was just too tired, a trail leg where I was supposed to read the next, long leg but I couldn't even find the damn trail... Then made a very bad route choice to 18 and also made a pretty bad mistake to the control and lost almost 3 minutes on that leg. Turns out that meant losing the clear victory... I'm so not satisfied with my performance but I learned a lot from this one. On to the next one!

TT sprint: I was so excited to get racing today!! I had a little too much of excitement cause I kept doing stupid mistakes. Then again, my only sprint this spring before this was the one in Switzerland sooo I'm not that disappointed. Plus, sprint isn't my primary goal this summer so I'm good with myself :)

Interesting that they finally let us use Ipods at the quarantine, it felt so good and energizing to get my music in sync with my warm up, I was feeling so good about the race...

World Cup round 1 Switzerland, Middle F: ....but when I got to the start line and there was a TV camera staring right at me, I freaked out. I knew there's gonna be cameras all over the place, I just wasn't prepared for that AT ALL. Still, I started off nice and easy, on te level going to first control. I arrived to the ditch but no control???? F****ckk Wrong ditch... and running up and down that slope, couldn't find it... I finally found it after a long search and was so exhausted already. I started my way back to the second as

World Cup round 1 Switzerland, Middle Q: I was prepared for something very difficult ahead and it turned out to be exactly like that. Short legs with not much to orienteer with, pretty much all I did during my exchange in Swiss. From the beginning taking it easy and very focused on the map, not going as fast as the others but still making a sure route to all the controls. Keeping my head in the process. The process paid itself off today, it felt so good to stand at the finish and wait for the results to come in, I made it to the final!! (And beat 3 finish guys ;) )

World Cup round 1 Switzerland, Sprint Quali: My first race in Men Elite, just wow! Running in front of the Swiss crowd is something different and it felt so good! No mistakes but I was so tired at the end when all the climb came on one leg... I missed the final by 1min05 and that is a lot in Sprint... Still a lot to do but have to be happy that I am able to run this well this early!

World Cup round 1 Switzerland, Sprint Model: a warm, very humid day, nice small village. A lot of narrow streets where you can barely fit two people at the same time. First sprint map touch in a while, but everything seemed to be in order!
