So Covid drive through test done, now just patiently quarantining and waiting for the result to come this evening...

Bad race for me, few very decisive mistakes and I was out. I managed to push alone and collect backs one by one. In the end I pushed faster and caught a bit to the front. I need to be more patient in relays, especially first leg.
Bright side, HS teams placed 2nd, 3rd and 5th which means we get 6 teams for a 2-man sprint relay in two weeks!!

Doc said I was in some kind of coma from doing nothing for several days after the heat exposure last Sunday. He recommended to go out and have fun so thats what I did. It actually felt nice. Brain still feels a bit slow but we'll see on Sunday if I'm actually recovered.

A total catastrophy melt down.
I'll start from the end and say that it took me over 15min to get up from the finish line. I was pushing at the red line almost all of the race and it showed at the end.
I was handed out perfectly on 3rd place by Eikka and Veli. Start good, only small mistake to #2 and Kalevan rasti 2nd team caught me there. So we went together the first loop until the arena passage(about 15min in). Then on the following leg, beginning on the trail I thought to myself that we were going seemingly slow, checked my map and next thing I know I was thinking how tired I am. Then it was all downhill. 'Via Dolorosa' as the commentator said. No energy to move forward, couldn't even keep up with KR 2nd team guy even if I fought hard to keep his back in sight. Then guys started coming from behind, saw a couple of them for a few seconds and then they were long ahead and gone. I somehow managed to keep my navigation in tact but that was about it.
Need more training.

WHAT A RACE!
On the red line almost all the way and a few bad mistakes probably because of that. I was surprised how well I could keep up, especially in the uphills. Just that 3rd last control still annoys me how I couldn't keep the level and then couldn't find the control...
The rocky ground was too much for my feet today, got big blisters on both feet so no running in a few days for me.
