running 42:00 [3] 5.0 mi (8:24 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Ravenna 7

Ran by myself this morning. I need to figure out a new run from my house cause the trails I've been running on are repetitive and too short to do anything longer than 5 and stay sane.

running race 20:32 [5] 5.0 km (4:06 / km)
shoes: Nike Zoom w 4

Finally PRd!!! I was super stoked for the race all morning, so I think the attitude definitely helped. Weather was crummy, but it felt great! Went out at a 6:24 first mile. First two miles went really well, but then I got really tired- especially my arms. Plan for next race: go out at same pace, but don't die and push harder the third mile. Result: as close to 20:00 as possible!!

running tempo 20:00 [4] 2.9 mi (6:54 / mi)
shoes: asics gel excite 3

First mile went pretty well. I didn't have a watch, but I kept close to the girls in front of me so I figure I was about 6:50. After that my stomach started hurting, and at 2 points I had to stop to let the stomachache subside. Sucked not having a watch and not being able to do the workout properly but really nice location!

Note

Wearing my old shoes from last season now. My newer ones have 200 less miles on them and yet have lost any traction whatsoever--the entire toe is rubbed smooth. Yes, I need new shoes. No, Idk when...
