running warm up/down 8:59 [2] 1.0 mi (8:59 / mi)
shoes: Asics excite4 1

running race 5:47 [5] 1.6 km (3:37 / km)
shoes: Nike Zoom w 4

Disappointing race. First lap was fine at 82, second was 85, but the last 2 were 90. Got stuck behind some girls the 2nd lap but passed them, but it was tough holding on the last lap and I got passed twice. The wind definitely played a part in it but I still shouldn't have been this slow since I was shooting for a 5:36. I'm thinking I need to do more speed workouts instead of slow long stuff.

running 40:20 [3] 5.08 mi (7:56 / mi)
shoes: Asics excite4 1

Ran a longer run/cooldown with Kelsey since we both had crappy miles (yes this was coach approved)

shoes: Asics excite4 1

running race 2:33 [5] 0.8 km (3:11 / km)
shoes: Nike Zoom w 4

This race felt pretty great until the last 200. I made a move on the girl ahead of me on the last straightaway of the first lap, but once I reached the 500 I got really tired, and started slowing down the last 200. Got passed by the same girl and a teammate the last 100 but a PR is a PR I guess

running warm up/down 13:39 [1] 1.36 mi (10:02 / mi)
shoes: Asics excite4 1

running race (4x400 relay) 1:06 [5] 0.4 km (2:45 / km)
shoes: Nike Zoom w 4

I made a distance relay with Brigette, me, Brigitte, and Taylor. Brigette is actually really fast and we were ahead of our own scoring team and all 3 Mercer Island teams at my handoff, and I was able to keep our lead.

running warm up/down 3:13 [2] 0.36 mi (8:56 / mi)

My legs were feeling the burn today. Felt pretty good about my times, but I realized from the first 800 that I slow down too much after the initial surge. Also kind of a pain in the butt having two younger guys tag along and ask me questions the whole time... like just run fast, bro...

side note- forgot to dry my asics after washing them yesterday, so I had to grab my brooks this morning--super bad decision. They are definitely what has been causing the pain in the balls of my feet, and killed them today. Calling it dunzo for this pair.

conditioning 16:00 [3]
