4x400 for funsies. Harder than I thought. Goal mile pace which is sub 5:20, so 80s. Was gonna try 70 on the last one but wasn't feelin it. Splits: 81, 81, 78, 79

Turner Loop. This was pretty fast for the trails and hills, not quite fast enough for intensity 4 or a tempo. Legs and stomach were dead first 2 miles but felt really fresh after that

running tempo 35:07 [4] 8.03 km (4:22 / km)
shoes: Saucony Ride 9

this was honestly a great tempo. I decided that a good tempo isn't necessarily super structured or needs a slow warmup, so I started the run comfy but fast and just kept picking it up. Stopped once for my stomach but I forced myself to be focused and not let my thoughts slow down my body, so overall a good run

running 28:30 [3] 4.97 km (5:44 / km)
shoes: Saucony Ride 9

conditioning (strength) 14:00 [3]

Note

talked to my coach, gonna do a little more internet research but I'm thinking of dropping my mileage to 45-50 and doing 10-20 of crosstraining (xc skiing or biking) to preserve my joints

Monday Feb 5, 2018 #

running 1:02:00 [3] 11.67 km (5:19 / km)
shoes: Saucony Ride 9

calves r tight

Note

OKAY so before anyone judges my routes on RunningWild 1) the beginning was a frenzy so i just kinda clicked straight, routes prob not the best 2) my laptop died halfway through which took a solid minute to reboot sooo
