alpine skiing 3:00:00 [3]

What a day, man. Last day, sun was out, did laps on frontside, hit jumps, practiced my grabs

running 46:59 [2] 9.64 km (4:52 / km)

Had my dad drop me off in Enumclaw after skiing to run back to my cousins' place before dinner. Ran 2 miles on a nice country road, ran 2 miles west on the shoulder of Highway 410 with the sun directly in my eyes, and ran 2 miles figuring out where I was. meh, but training is training ya know?

Note

Just writing this here so I can have it on record for myself. Was reaching for something in the kitchen cabinet (I kinda get up on the counter to reach) and when I got down I felt a sudden staggering pain in my L knee. Weird bc this happened once before a couple weeks ago, I was just shifting my standing position and I guess stepped weird? idk but my knee has been bothering me lately anyway so I think imma start my strengthening exercises again

running warm up/down 20:51 [2] 3.6 km (5:48 / km)
shoes: Saucony Guide 10

running race 11:48 [5] 3.2 km (3:41 / km)
shoes: Nike Zoom w 4

Good race i guess? My initial reaction was "shoot wasn't in the 30s", but I dropped 18s from my last pr so I'm just gonna try to keep PRing. Plus the 3200 race still feels pretty new to me, so this was a huge confidence booster. Splits were pretty even the whole race, first mile was 5:45, then slowed down a bit, but was passing girls the whole time. I was worried I'd feel weak in the middle, but I felt strong all the first 6 laps. Started losing focus 7th lap and stomach started hurting last lap so no kick. I need to feel the fire bc I was just latching onto packs and prob wouldn't have run fast otherwise, it was like I was being paced rather than racing.
