M21E
A good day for Victoria.
1st in M21E and M20E.
Both were also winners of the NOL team categories. For Men's Elite, this was our first title since 2007. Previous to that we won in 2003 as a combined men's and women's team.
I was 3rd leg in our second team for this relay. Unfortunately Simon missed control 17, so our team was not classified.
It wasn't my best run. I had several close misses which resulted in 4 x 2mins of time losses. On most of these I failed to have a clear idea of the contour shapes approaching the control circle. I ran close to the control but didn't look in exactly the right place for the flag and they seemed a little more tucked away than the previous day.
