Running intervals (Fartlek) 1:01:00 [4]
slept:7.0

Yarra Bend Golf Course Fartlek with an extension to Dight's Falls. Accelerated on the fairways and jogged around the greens and tees.
A bit smoky today, but it was still cool at 7am in the morning.

Long run from Melbourne Zoo to docklands, MCG and then back through Fitzroy gardens and Carlton. Felt good, especially in the second half today.

Running 1:20:00 [3]
slept:6.0

2x3hr sleeps last night. Not too bad for the first night at home I guess.
There was no cricket on tv today, so I managed to get out for a good run in the middle of the day. It wasn't hot, but I still managed to run into a 30cm lizard Yarra river single track near the Eastern Fwy overpass.

Running 40:00 [4]

4 x 1000m intervals around Merri Creek to Dight's falls and back. I felt quite good for the most part.

Sophie came home this morning, so I think I'll have to start logging my sleep hrs.

One of the best impacts of staying home with the family this week, has been the fact that I have seen almost every ball of the cricket on tv. What a great days play today. One of the best ever.

Running 50:00 [2]

MFR Monday night run with Warren (& Milo), Blair, Dion, Ilka, Nicola and Jasmine.
I had a trip on a stone on one of the single tracks that would have looked great for the pack behind me.

Sunday Dec 3, 2006 #

Running long 2:03:00 [2]

My mother in law arrived last night to help out, so I took the opportunity to get a long run in.
I started a 7am and ran for an hour up Merri Creek before returning to the Fairfield Boathouse at 8am to see if any other Melbourne Forest Racers were there to join me. They all must be a bit slack, so I continued on for another hour up to Bourke Road on my own.
I saw my first snake of the summer, but luckily it was a dead one. A cyclist must have squashed it as it was sliding across the track.
