Note
(sick)

Woke up with a very sore inside right knee, which lasted for most of the day. Very strange given I hadn't twinged anything and had just been sleeping. I suspect that dehydration had something to do with it, and perhaps the way that I was sleeping?

Note
(sick) (rest day)

My "not feeling quite right" has developed into "the runs" so perhaps I'd be better off logging my time in the bathroom today.

Running 35:00 [2] 6.0 km (5:50 / km)

Feeling off colour yesterday, so I had a rest.
Today was a bit better, but still not 100%, so I just took it easy and has a short run at lunch time. I felt quite cold at the start of the run and I had little energy, so something still seems to be wrong with me.

Monday Nov 2, 2009 #

Running 55:00 [3] 11.0 km (5:00 / km)

Fawkner Park
I missed the start by 2 minutes, so I had to run surge for the first 2kms to catch the pack. Eventually I got them in South Yarra, and then could relax a bit more for the rest of the run.

Running long 1:20:00 [2] 15.0 km (5:20 / km)

A struggle to get out of bed this morning (after watching some of the Aus v Ind ODI last night). Ran around Darebin Parklands and then on to the Yarra up to Burke Rd and back on the other side.
It looks like several map corrections will be needed at Darebin with large machinery and rocks being moved down by the creek in a couple of locations.
I failed to notice any Powerful Owls near Wilson's Reserve, but apparently there are a couple of rare 65cm owls there that eat possums.

I don't think the Aussies care too much about the Indian one day series. I can't understand why Brad Haddin can be fit enough to play for NSW but not fit enough to return for Australia. For that matter, how can Michael Clarke be fit enough to frollick around with Lara at the races, but not play cricket?
Names like Holland, Henriques, Voges, Manou and Mackay must surely be on the trip for experience, and would not be in our best team. What's wrong with Hodge, D Hussey, Clark, Hughes, Katich etc?
