Orienteering tempo 40:26 [4] 9.42 km (4:18 / km) +71m 4:08 / km

Street Orienteering at Tunstall Junction.
I had a terrible run physically, after having a xmas bbq at work for lunch. I could feel the hamburger and sausage in my stomach for the entire run.
I managed to do enough to win, but I only had a 20m gap on Bryan Ackerly for most of the run.

When the course setter announces at the briefing that "all controls are in the right spot tonight", it usually means that they won't be. This was the case tonight! A single small knoll in a park was mis-placed by about 100m.

Running long 1:31:28 [2] 17.22 km (5:19 / km) +349m 4:49 / km

Long run around Black Mountain with Eric Morris, Craig unpronouncable, Jason McCrae and Rob Walter.
There was plenty of running water in the creeks and puddles on the tracks. There were a few steep climbs, but we never got to the top of the mountain.
