Bendigo ToDay Forest Sprint
Norfolk Hero

A good clean forest sprint race. No mistakes to talk about. I felt quite good for the first half, but I had some stomach cramps in the second half. I think I drank too much water in the afternoon. I was trying to stay hydrated for the heat, but I obviously had a bit too much water.

I witnessed a cycle stack today at close range. Some dude with skinny tyres tried to overtake me turning right from Napier St into Gertrude St, Collingwood. I always take this corner slow and wide to avoid the tram tracks. The other dude took the corner too sharp, got stuck in the tram tracks, and came crashing down. I stopped to help and look for danger. Luckily there were no other cars or trams coming. The crash was actually at slow speed at there was not much damage other than some skin off. I think he was just in shock. There was not much I could do - he wouldn't tell me if he needed any help. I waited with him until other help arrived and then left him in capable hands.
