Bendigo Bush Classic 8

A good clean run spiking all controls and feeling quite fast in the forest.
I think I took a good route choice on the long leg.

Long run around Yarra Bend before footy. This felt quite slow and I was not very motivated for running this morning.

The day improved with an awesome day of footy.
First I got to goal umpire at Torren's match. In the first quarter Torren took a mark at the top of the goal square and went back and kicked a goal over my head. It was a great feeling for a dad to signal the goal and wave the flags for him!

The boys and I then went to the North Melbourne v Adelaide game at Etihad Stadium. For 95 minutes we felt pretty miserable, especially when we were 39 points down. Then with 5 minutes to go, we got back to within 24 points, and there was a sense of belief that the Crows could do it. The next 5 minutes was awesome. Everything went perfectly and the Crows got up by a point.

I have seen nothing like it since 1997 when the Crows defeated the Western Bulldogs in the Preliminary final.
