Bendigo Night Champs

I twisted my knee dropping into the depression in the dark at control 3. I got through the race without too much discomfort, but it has pulled up a little stiff, so I will take it easy until I see how it goes.

Note

I woke up very stiff after a long sleep. It was a struggle to walk to the toilet and then breakfast. Luckily I didn't have to do too much walking today, as it was hard work.

Note

I pulled up ok after the race. I did have a few blisters on both heels, mainly from the loose rocks going down hill, and the heels of my feet digging in to try to avoid slipping on the loose surface.
I minimised the impact of these blisters by using a needle to insert some cotton through them, to drain the fluid out.
