cycling 1:28:06 [4] 28.26 mi (3:07 / mi)

Was supposed to be unpacking today, but it was beautiful out so went for a ride N in the county. Some dude passed me on a climb, which ticked me off. So I kicked and tailed him for a while, but then he turned left. Loads of climb. Nice to ride without the knapsack and less traffic for a change.

trail run 42:55 [3] 9.0 km (4:46 / km)

10 mins to change gear, then a loop down to the lake and out the power line to the video store and back. Like most power lines, it goes in a straight line up and down and over everything. Still the novelty of running off into the woods to get to the video store is pretty cool. Actual direct return time was 14 mins, so its probably a 25 min rt.

A http://eosdb.ssec.wisc.edu/modisdirect/terra/calib...g">bluebird day! Fast going in with tailwind and downhill, but the return was a dog. Will take me some time to get used to the late climbs.

trail run 52:40 [3] 11.0 km (4:47 / km)

Trail run at home before work. What a novel concept! Need to measure this later. Some off-trail...maybe 500m.

road run 41:30 [4] 10.15 km (4:05 / km)

Two sets in one day. What is the world coming to? Roland Park. Time is a bit of a guess today. Used my workstation clock on both ends as my watch is dead. Estimated the waits. On my way to the store for a battery now.

orienteering 2:19:12 [4] 15.6 km (8:55 / km)

Billygoat. Bashed my knee on the way to #1. Had to perform a "stickectomy" on my scalp on the way to #12. Generally got beat up. Skipped #9. A good, tough race with 50/50 nav on my part.
