Feeling a bit congested after yesterdays fast run, so skipped the usual cycle to the time trial and back.
Need some sleep after a hard weeks work getting a paper written for a conference in Mauritius. Hold thumbs...

feeling a bit battered and bruised from yesterdays efforts and the flu is going to knock me again next week after the weekend exertions. running was slower with more direct route choices being quicker, but slower overall.
1st on the course overall for the weekend.
managed to tip the scales at over 80 after the weekends eating out every meal, and probably grew some muscle with all that exerciser too. 1st time in a long time that I have been over 80. need to do something about that!!!
distance straight line was 10.1km

great run at the first day of the texas stampede. wasn't feeling very well - still remnants of the flu from last week, but went out reasonably hard anyway.
ended 1st by 19minutes.
feeling very rusty.
will hopefully get around to adding my run as an event, and maybe everybody else's splits as well.
got turned around in a circle at one control - 180 degree error cost me 4 mins, otherwise no serious mistakes, just small imperfections that probably add up to another 4 mins overall.
distance straight line was 10.2 km.

I need to run!!!
Awesome sleep last night 8 - 6, but still feeling under the weather.

started feeling rotton before my run on saturday, but thought the run would chase it out of me. started feeling really rotten yesterday afternoon and went to bed to sleep it off. Doesnt seem to have worked, I feel worse this morning. hopefully will be better by the weekend for the texas stampede orienteering.
