orienteering race (stubblefield day 1) 1:03:42 [3] *** 9.7 km (6:34 / km) +120m 6:11 / km
ahr:159 max:194 spiked:12/18c shoes: oroc 340

still struggling with a cough, but had a reasonable run.
kept my HR restricted to 173 with alarm on my polar.
Stubblefield day 1. red course of 7.01km, ran about 10km.
messed up number 1 due to over enthusiasm.
overran number 6 missed the 90 degree turn in the path. also overran number 10 to the catch feature, then circled back too low. so lost about 7mins overall.
got beaten by a jnr on the day - Aaron had a great run.

A quick core session thanks to the fitness app on the TV...
Feeling a bit congested after yesterdays fast run, so skipped the usual cycle to the time trial and back.
Need some sleep after a hard weeks work getting a paper written for a conference in Mauritius. Hold thumbs...

feeling a bit battered and bruised from yesterdays efforts and the flu is going to knock me again next week after the weekend exertions. running was slower with more direct route choices being quicker, but slower overall.
1st on the course overall for the weekend.
managed to tip the scales at over 80 after the weekends eating out every meal, and probably grew some muscle with all that exerciser too. 1st time in a long time that I have been over 80. need to do something about that!!!
