US Ultra Long Champs - Rattlesnake WMA. Well, lets just say that I did not realize how tired I was after the hectic/long day yesterday. I spent much of the last 1.5 hours of this course barely walking and fending off cramps. After #9 and #10 when I was closest to the finish and an aid station, respectively, I almost bagged it for the day. But I decided to stick it out and just take the time I needed.

The details are a still bit fuzzy, but I would say I had no major errors more than about 5 minutes. Of the four major errors I did have, 3 were self induced (poor navigation) and on one I just couldn't get into the map. However I managed to not lose contact at any time and managed my errors fairly well. After control #9 when I started cramping, I slowed my pace significantly and the navigation got pretty easy (surprise, surprise).

GPS showed 12 miles on the button

There might be more later if I ever feel up to it.
