Orienteering 50:00 [3]

pretty much same thing as last week, only it was a race and you lose points for leaving out features off the map.

Run 10:00 [3] 1.6 km (6:15 / km)

clibby made us run somewhere. i ran ok, if a bit unevenly paced. hill nearly killed me.

Cycling 15:00 [3] 5.0 km (3:00 / km)

planned to get up early and go for a bike ride. woke up about 5 minutes before my normal time, so i could only go for a really quick ride. still made it to work on time :)

i dunno about the others, cuz bridgy stopped doing 1k and i didnt have a watch. the 4th felt pretty fast but that doesnt mean it was. i was gonna do a couple of 500m reps after but no one wanted to do them with me and i couldnt be bothered by myself.

was bored, so went for a ride. about 5 minutes into it decided it was pretty stupid to go at 1:30...it was soo hot. pretty ok ride, fairly easy pace, had some decent hills in it too. still not feeling 100%, worse than yesterday actually, hopefully i'll be properly better soon. ive got a faint but definite knicks tan now :(

feeling a bit better today. had coffee just after i took pseudoephedrine, didnt do anything...chris reckoned it was gonna make me high but it didnt...i think its cuz i drink so much coffee i would need to have about 3 before the caffeine started to affect me..fingers crossed ill be good for the sprint tomorrow after my 3 rest days.

backwards windows o, the control circle was blank and we had to fill it in. i ran up the hills pretty good.

2km time trial. felt ok, time is alright i guess, just over a min off my pb for that route (6.49) so thats not too bad considering my lack of training lately. first k was pretty slow, so i pushed myself a bit more for the 2nd. 4.17, 3.42
wasnt planning on going for a run all day because i felt pretty crappy, but then i realised i hadnt had any coffee all day since i didnt go to work, so i replenished the caffeine in my system around 5ish then by 6 i had more energy so i went for a run.

probs shouldve warmed down for longer, but at least i did something...

legs were pretty sore from wearing heels so i went for a ride instead of a run, normal ride to bridge via laurel ave, along the river to tennyson, through yeronga, across the green bridge, through uni, past st peters, across the bridge home along oxley rd. pretty alright ride, i think the last time i did it i did something like 1:14, so ive improved a bit.

felt really good for the first 20 minutes, then lack of sleep started to get to me a bit, but i tried to push myself, so last 25 min ended up a bit fartlek cuz i would progressively slow down then realise how slow i was going and speed up again.

no work today :). had to drop some stuff into work tho. so went city, back to indro, to uni to get id cards, wandered around indro for a while, to city, wandered around city for a while, walked to south bank and back for no particular reason, shopped a bit. got my hair cut and dyed. i can live with the colour but i hate hate hate the cut. grrr hairdressers are evil.

at mt cootha. i got a bit confused sometimes with all the paths. didnt run very well either. felt like crap. had a massive headache too. but ive panadoled it away now. but i still dont feel that good.
