totally planned a run for today. but by the time i got home from work i was exhausted. maybe i should include something other than coffee in my diet.

nice easy run. my calves are a bit sore, but other than that i feel pretty good today.

Orienteering 1:04:14 [4] 5.5 km (11:41 / km) +160m 10:12 / km

lots better compared to yesterday, but then anything would be really. was feeling pretty dead by the 4th control, but i saw ruth who started before me and so i wanted to catch her and that was enough motivation to keep going. caught her on the way to the 7th control. which was very sloppy in the circle. as were 8 and 9. but i had the fastest time for today :) pity about yesterday, but oh well.

bleh. dnfd after spending about 40 minutes running around in circles looking for my 3rd control. attempting to relocate and ending up where i'd started 3 times.

pretty much just wanted to beat this guy who is all like "omg im so awesome and hot and stuff"...he dropped out at like 9.5 or something and me and bridgy were the only ones left...yah!! then i stopped at 10.9, i didn't feel thaaaat bad so maybe i couldve done more but meh. lol and according to the averages from the class of 2005 or whatever its pretty good.
mostly i just find it funny that the guys looked kinda depressed cuz they were beaten by girls...and our tutor was like...wow thats the first time girls have ever won it. and then bridgy goes "thats what orienteers do..." and then he looked at us like we were crazy.

nice run around the hilly parts of sherwood/corinda. figured it was about time i did some sort of training that involved hills.

also had to go buy milk and i walked to woolies. go me. i usually drive even though its like...600m

not sure whats wrong with me.....two runs in one day (even if they were both short).....but i can't read that many academic journal articles before i need to run away from them, and i like running in the rain :)

mad awesome fun at my friends house today. she has three golf buggies. well technically they're not hers, but same thing. only we may have had a slight accident and crashed two of them into each other and i hurt my wrist :( oops.

muscle strength and endurance at uni.
bench press - 60kg (supposedly excellent...)
dumbbell shoulder press - 22kg (above average)
bicep curls - estimated 30kg (above average)
leg press - 110kg (average)
leg extension - 75kg (
muscle strength hand grip right - 38 (above average)
left - 33 (above average)
push ups (real ones...) in one min - 12 (average)
sit ups in one min - 36 (excellent)

Run 39:27 [3] 5.6 km (7:03 / km)

5 x 235m hill sprints at uni with jog back recovery.
all roughly 60 seconds. best one was 54.

plus like 3k warm/down. warm up was faster htan normal cuz we were trying to keep up with this hot runner but then he went across the bridge and we didn't want to so yeh..
