Stony Swamp West

All things considered, I am pleased with the workout. The significant issue was a 20 minute mistake on the leg with the easiest-to-see control (#7). I was out late geocaching Saturday night and I knew that the water levels would be extreme during the O meet. Expecting to board the city bus after the meet, I decided to race in rubber boots. Who wants to carry (or wear) totally soaked shoes and socks on the bus? No I won't be tracking the mileage of my Wal-mart galoshes.

High quality socks were important. In similar conditions, I would again consider using those boots. I felt comfortable and confident if much slower. Imagine that: slower than slow.

I was running through the Stony Swamp but when the GPSr batteries ran out and then Mr Sun's batteries ran out, I somehow got twisted 180° and ended up at Moodie rather than Richmond.
