Orienteering 1:40:00 [3] 4.98 mi (20:05 / mi)
shoes: inov-8 X-Claw 275

Not in the best running shape nor in the best navigation shape. It'll come back, at least that's what I tell myself. Vince came and did his whole course, that made me happy. Being in the woods made me very happy as well. I wish I could be out there more often. As Vince said, orienteering gives you a reason to be outside exploring places you'd never be. We laughed about the frozen marshy places where you are walking around for a bit and thinking - wow, this is kind of a strange crunchy grass and then your leg plunges knee deep into a non-frozen part. I kept my feet dry until the last bit. Next day, my leg was covered with little spots where all the prickly things had gone through my leggings - though my first thought when I saw them wasn't that I had just run through brambles, rather that I had picked up some disgusting skin disease at the hospital.

ugh, working though a minor GI bug. even though it's minor, it kept Jeremy up because every time I turned in bed he could actually hear my stomach gurgling.

I'm not training well right now both because I'm sick and because I'm time crunched. Four months down, only eight to go.

Basic strength @ ET.

Climbing 10:00 [3]

@ ET
