Unless I want to drive into Boulder for a non-critical errand...I'm kinda done for the day (except for packing). Since the weather is pleasant and I know I won't be able to run as much as usual next week (while at the same time eating much more & much worse than usual), I decided to go for a second run.

Original plan was easy pace, but then I noticed I was sub-9:00 (which is "fast" for me), so I tried to maintain that.

I saw a guy running the CX course, so I might do that sometime soon.

I'm still really unexcited about the 50K bike-race component of the Old Man Winter event I signed up for...but I don't think I can withdraw and get my money back. So I guess I better train for it.

Today was another perfect weather day: 50s, sunny, no wind.

I headed east on the Coal Creek Trail, through Lafayette and into Erie, out and back, with a quick loop around the Erie bike park on my way back.

I'm not crazy about this route since, from my house, all the "out" is downhill and then I have to climb the whole way back. But it's an amazingly long stretch of non-road trail / bike path, so that's nice.

I was really slow for the last eight miles...but I got it done and it wasn't too miserable.
