Enjoyed the Red course at GVNC. Disappointed I was distracted by control 5 on the way to 3. I'll call that one of the worst visual errors I've made in a while...

So yes, thought 1 should have come better, and 21 seemed to have map issues to me. [difficult to put together because I appeared to clearly be standing on a path that was descending just after the rock field of 20, but that configuration doesn't really appear on the map...] I did find a contour line under the boulder field and that may help explain it.

Had several reasonable legs that I can be happy about, and enjoyed this new terrain - first time on this map for me. Not much running in yet this year, so again - acceptable performance.

Still ok - think I better remove the injury report. It's somewhat sore, but didn't seem to get in the way. Five minutes in I had an 8:17 mile split.
