Alpine Skiing 4:00:00 [3]
I think I love my new job (although I don't even know if it's basic wage yet). Prepping pancakes for breakie and I got the text all employees want from their bosses "no work today....it's a powder day. Never forget why we live here!"
So, I dumped the bairns at school. Printed off some UK tax stuff. Booked out some gear for Avalanche School and hit the POW. All lift 9 and 7. Immense day. Did a 5ft somersault into a tree just off Joint Point. Back took all the impact. Snow was so deep it took 10mins to find my ski.
Hit the beer at the end of the day when I found out that I'm working at Pandora Mine on Monday. I'm a bit partial to some geology so this was a near on perfect day.
