Running 45:22 [3] 8.32 km (5:27 / km) +49m 5:18 / km
ahr:155 max:173

Up early for a slow, very cold run in shorts and T shirt. Pelvis was not at all happy.
Durango has many amazing things going for it. One is a great hike and bike trail on the Animas River that nobody uses at 5:30am. (If this was Austin they'd be thousands on this trail. Every minute of every day). One negative thing I learnt on this run is that the empty space at the junction of 550 and 160 was home to the Uranium mill for 14% of The Bomb (and other bombs there after). It took the US over 10 years to clean the area up. I wonder how this has affected the population. Anyway, regardless. I think I've said this before. If I didn't live in T-ride, I'd definitely live in Purgatory/Durango. Wonderful place.
NB. The U15's got smacked. Every game. But lots of positives. (Even though I was also told I'm losing the U19's after the Fall).

Running 1:46:40 [3] 16.42 km (6:30 / km) +207m 6:07 / km
ahr:160 max:185

LSD at Thunder Trails, Norwood. Never been here and I'll be back. Cracking open pine, juniper and sagebrush. Ran Thunder and Portis Loops. I need to attempt a crappy map of this place. The area teases half the time. You get glimpses of Lone Cone Mt. and the huge chasm of Naturita Canyon. (I never saw the bottom, ever.)
This was the first real run on single track since the op. For the last three miles my bum was on a CPAP.
Got home in pieces to watch the Mags secure safety....in style....no idea how...now please sell to the Saudis.
NB. After working on Maya's distribution this afternoon I was told tonight that Maya has to goalkeeper train with an art teacher if she wants to get better. (Get on Varsity). Fortunately the parents are savvy. If The Charlatans weren't my favourite band the term would be thrown about in gay abandon.
40 min stretching. Really feel the benefit from this. 20 mins in the morn and 20 after workout. Making me feel happy all round.

Tried the stretching programme's S&C. Easy, but enjoyable. (Probably why I enjoyed it.)
40 mins stretching.

Note

Back to Politics and The Super League. It's come to my attention that NBC and ESPN's coverage of the happenings in the UK have been greatly distorted in favour of the Glazer family (and Fenway Holdings). If these weren't the only mediums I could follow my first and longest love in life I'd leave subscription. (And will do at the earliest opportunity). This was sneakier than Fox telling us that Trump was a shoe in for the Noble Peas Prize.
On a positive footballing note I managed to listen to Hebburn v Consett in the FA Vase and Harrogate v Concord in the FA Trophy today, during the school run too. TalkSport...luv 'em. Good guys won both. Takes me back to 1980 and why I love Footie. The Language of love.
(To reassure the American audience and my dad I don't spell Noble like that.)
My rant is because I feel that Robbie Mustoe, who I really like, became Lord Haw Haw over the weekend. Grrrrr. Back to Normality tomorrow. (Not Normalcy, cos that'll start another rant!)
