100m kick board, 300m pull buoy. Technique feels good, energy level so so.

Running 15:00 [2] 2.0 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: NB 1223 - Red/Blue 9.5

Very easy pace to test out the ankles. Felt ok but need to give it a little bit of time post-run to see.

Rest day today. Swim tomorrow because the pool is closed both Sunday and Monday. VERY short jog tomorrow maybe too. Say 2km.

Spinning at home on the trainer. Low energy tonight. Had trouble keeping my heart rate up. Kept it mostly in Z1 and a bit in Z2.

Think I need a rest day tomorrow. No pool tomorrow night.

Good class. Worked a lot on hip flexibility. Mine are really, really tight and need the work.

Good swim. Had someone ask how often I swim because "you're really fast". Never heard that before. Either I'm getting faster or they're just nuts. I am one of the faster swimmers in the pool but that's not necessarily saying much. Will be interesting to check my swim time in Milton.

Late night spinning after dinner with Boon. Quick 45 minutes but better to get in something than nothing at all. Kept it in zone 2 for the bulk of the workout.

Really good pilates class. Right ankle feeling better, not 100% but better. Hopefully last week was just a scare -- little too much running too soon. Start slow and build the mileage up gradually. Victoria's duathlon probably not the best idea this weekend.

Goal will be to swim and bike 3x per week for the next couple of weeks. Perhaps a few really short runs (2 - 3 km) at a really easy pace.
