orienteering race 53:55 [4] *** 6.5 km (8:18 / km) +185m 7:16 / km
spiked:5/13c shoes: Adidas Swoop

November Classic - used Swoops and they were really good this week, think I've broken them in now. Running really well, fitness is on its way up! Very scrappy though and kept losing 20 secs - a minute as i was approaching the control. Kind of forgot all techniques like attack points and ran on hope, not a good plan! Fairly pleased with result in terms of interland selection but could have been a good 3-4 minutes quicker which would have placed me a lot higher. Rest is fitness (or lack of!)

orienteering race 48:20 [5] *** 5.1 km (9:29 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-2110

Oxford City Race - running well to start with but slowed down as shoes started to rub, got a blister on my instep. Actual distance was closer to 9km than 5! Really messy, and hesitant over route choices but no major mistakes. Took quite a long time to get into the map aswell, but have never used a town map before. Caught dad up at 13 and ran the second half with him. Still, fantastic fun!

running 9:00 [4] 1.7 km (5:18 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-2110

9 minute run at the end of training session at Cheltenham - was absolutely shattered before we started, but started ok, then relaxed into more of a jog.

other (fitness tests) 10:00 [2]

Shot tests, pull ups and sit and reach for Carolyn's records.

strength/conditioning (core work/pilates) 20:00 [2]

Pilates and core strength work with Carolyn, very hard on the gluts and abs, especially towards the end.

plyometrics 10:00 [3]

Bounding and plyometrics at athletics.

mobility (hurdle drills) 15:00 [4]

Hurdle drills, and lots of them! Was working with the hurdles at U20 height aswell so hard work.

circuits 5:00 [3]

Short circuit tonight, and not too hard! Just as well as was dead at this point!

athletics warm up/down 20:00 [3]

Thorough warm up with lots of drills because it was so cold - -1*C at the end of the session!
