trail running warm up/down 10 [3]

ran to pine hills club then back to the track

trail running (bunyaville) 33:36 [4] 6.0 km (5:36 / km)

ran the usual track around bunyaville. my time was 2 mins slower than last time :(. felt pretty crap and just couldnt get the flow.

trail running hills (bunyaville) 5:00 [5]

did 5 hill sprints up a really steep hill. was about 1min each.

Note

leg was fine when i was running. just when i finish and walk around i can feel it in my left leg.

my leg started to stuff up yesterday arvo after the run, i dunno why, but i havent had this problem for about a year! used to get it constantly about 2yrs ago! and the last time i had it, i got really screwed up and couldnt run for ages! when i woke up this morning it was incredible painfull but got better through the day. it seems to hurt more when i walk ( i can feel it in every step) but when i was running tonight i couldn't feel it as much. i really hope it doesn't get any worse..

just doing running training now to get our base fitness. ran pretty much the whole way with gary. it was really good coz he's heaps faster than me so i got pushed :) made me feel like crap when im totally struggling up this massive hill and hes having a normal conversation with me! im like shut up! lol. decided to pick up the pace 1k out from the carpark and did a race/sprint back! fun, fun, fun!
not sure what my time was coz neither of us took a watch!

club relays..was with kurt and daniel. made kurt do the longer route! i think we came about 5th. then went back out to pick up controls..
and got thrown in the pool :(

walked up and down a 2km long shopping centre!! it opened today and its apparently the BIGGEST in the southern hemisphere!! and spent lots of money...

AM - ran to the village with a backpack on, it was bouncing around heaps and really pissed me off so i walked alot!!

trail running warm up/down 25:00 [3]

PM - ran to and from the cutting. running home was hard up the big hill.

trail running intervals 15:00 [5] 4.0 km (3:45 / km)

PM - did 4 reps to the end of the cutting and back. 3.36, 3.26, 3.40, 3.29. wasn't very much fun coz my training buddy was at school :(. did 100 crunches when i got home.

i was pretty flagged considering ive only had about 6hrs sleep since thursday. just couldnt really be bothered getting into it!

ran across the paddocks to the village and then back home. pretty pointless run, felt like shit and just couldnt get moving!

ran all the way to the end of this rd thinking i could cross the train line, but didnt read my map properly so had to run all the way back. felt pretty good running out there, ran with krystal for the last couple of controls...got u all wrapped up 4 the next one! was lots of fun, couldnt believe how many juniors showed up!!! must be because qld has the best juniors in the country...

did okay, just overshot no 4, lost about 2mins. that hill to the finish contol was a mission!!!!!!!!!!

decided to take it slow coz i was sooo sick of stuffing everything up! still managed to shag the 1st control and the 4th. the rest was pretty good.
