Katherine thinks I'm doing pretty well, but there are some real issues in hamstring and adductors that need working out - very very tight.
So she worked them loose. Ouch. Also some massaging of the front of hip where it's tight after the op. That was good.
So lots of different stretches to do. Dropping most of the book now. Need to work on adductors, abductors, glutes, stretching stuff that was bruised in op. Walking and moving in swimming pool good.
Very useful to talk through where I am at with Katherine.
OK - clicking in hip, acheyness in front and muscles.
Not OK - loud pops or cracks from hip. Deep acheyness inside groin area - that's where problems show.
Feeling pretty good at teh moment. Going up stairs fine. Going down slower. Walking ok, but can't stride out. A bit more normal now. Katherine says just due to tightness in soft tissues around hip from op. Will recede as I use stuff.
Managed 25 mins on bike this evening. But most of time was packing kit for Scotland and re-arranging furniture in living room. I was being careful though.
