Note

Been doing lots of gardening and cutting logs and stuff this weekend.

Knackered. Right hip has been good. Left hip and adductor bothering me a lot.

Physio today.

Doing very well apparently. :)

The achey/pain around the head of the femur was an inflamed bursa (bursitis) - so that got a good working out.

ROM is much better now - I can bring my knee to my chest and inwards as well.

Still lots of work to do, but very good progress for 8 weeks post surgery.
Main things to concentrate on now are glute/abductor strength and Adductor/Flexor stretching. (ads/flex are already strong from cycling and running)
Looking forward to seeing Schilders next week to see what he thinks of progress.
Only 4 weeks or so til I am allowed to run.

What a difference a week makes.
Start of the week in scotland, I was still limping a bit, hip still very tight so couldn't stride out.

By the end of the week I was walking almost normally. Still a lot of stiffness in the hip, and first day back on the commute has left things a little tight and sore, but looking good.

Managed to do a crossed over leg glute stretch last night without groin pinching.

Back to being tired again. zzzzzzzz
