Sprint #1 (urban) in Columbus, IN. M70. Course length: 2.4 km.
At 8:00 AM on Sunday this part of the city was nearly deserted. A lot of fun with only a couple of small errors.

Orienteering race 21:07 [3] *** 2.53 km (8:21 / km)

Flying Pig
Sprint #2 (park). M70. Mill Race Park. Course length: 2.2km.
My legs were dead after the earlier sprint, but I managed to keep moving.
No real route choice. Straight line run from one control to the next. except for going around the two ponds and there it didn't appear to make much difference which way you went. Course length and FR distance were the same!

Yellowwood State Forest. Long distance. M70 - Brown. Course length: 3.8 km.
This Long course was only 300 meters longer than yesterday's Middle, but had 150 meters more climb. Nice course in nice woods. Fairly clean run.

Middle distance at Eagle Creek park in Indianapolis, IN. Brown - M70.
Course length: 3.5 km.
The terrain between the entrance to the parking looked pretty grim: very flat, very wet and very green. The actual competition area turned out to be quite nice. My biggest problem was maintaining concentration, particularly going from 2 to 3, where I wandered around in a fog for much too long.
