Scargill Rogaine with alastair mac Dowell. Lovely day, where we car pooled with Greg Hamilton and co. Awesome event with good runnable course and nice finish line vibes with dinner for everyone too! Dosnt get much better than that.

Came in 2nd place after Greg and co. Navigation wise we where bang on..made two mistakes one dropping into a step bluff on a river bank and the other picking a cabbage tree in a copice of trees. Had a funny moment where we thought we where at the water station, thinking there's not much water here...turns out it was a trampers back pack and bladder we where tucking into...opps!!! The water station was 20m further around the corner.

Our route choice was a bit too ambitions and we slowed down alot with the heat and lack of water in the hot dry terrain. Ended up having to race back to the start without picking up any more controls which was a bit of a mistake.

Body felt good though. The gaiters where way too hot so I tuck them off half way around

Indoor sport climbing with al at the ymca. Routes seemed hard and I struggles on some of the 20s and 21s! Felt exposed on the ceiling traverse and had to take a rest. Clipping felt sloppy.

Finished with a set of 3x grade 15 up and down.

Felt pumped.

Slight soar left elbow afterwards in the evening

Fun swim at corsair bay. Hadn't any Google's so more of a splash around than an actual swim - was quite out of breath though as it was windy and choppy
