Well, that was an interesting experience. It was super cold and I was only barely dressed for the temperature. Super windy up top of hill with snow guns showering us in a wet blizzard the entire time. Snow conditions were OK for man-made, except for the first roll off the top of the downhill - that was a little terrifying each time.

Did 8 laps, and was being double lapped every lap by the top guys and gals on their featherweight excuses for a set of skis!

I got really good at my AT transitions, put in a good night of training, and caught up with some old friends, so overall, it was worth it. I would do it again, I think. I'd be tempted to borrow some proper ski-mo gear for next time but I think I'd be too chicken to do the downhill on skinny skis.
