Mtb 2:11:00 [3] 38.0 km (3:27 / km) +750m 3:08 / km
shoes: Yeti ARC

Went for a ride with Brittany on the road to Kingston. She did the time trial in 25:30, pretty good for a first attempt and considering how long she has been riding for. We stopped at her house and fried up some garlic bread for a snack on the way through!

Karate 2:30:00 [3]

Standard issue karate session + super shagged legs from the morning ride....

Great ride with Brittany. Over Tolman's hill again today, then around Hobart College and up to the Signal Station on the road. Brittany rode super well again, she's going to be a climbing machine! She is also having no trouble with the pedals which is pretty cool.

Great ride!

Mtb 1:23:00 [2] 15.7 km (5:17 / km) +200m 4:58 / km
shoes: Yeti ARC

Basically just a cruisy ride with Brittany so she could get used to clipless pedals. She did really well the whole way, not a single sketchy moment to speak of. She even started roadie hopping over drains etc. on the way home!

Great Cyclingo group ride. We climbed all the way up Old Farm firetrail to Junction cabin. I almost cleaned the whole thing, but had two dabs on slippery loose rocky bits. We then went along North South track and turned off down a super technical rocky track before hitting up the upper and lower Luge. Thats right folks, there is an upper half to the Luge that I hadn't ridden.

Then climbed up the OG tracks and home. The water tank hill nearly killed me but I made it!

Fantastic ride, I did pretty well I think considering I didn't know any of the tracks we rode.

Mtb 2:30:00 [3] 33.5 km (4:29 / km) +1000m 3:54 / km
shoes: Yeti ARC

Rode to Fern Tree with Brittany. She did fantastically well today, smashing Tolman's Hill like it wasn't even there. And then every other hill afterwards...

Went up to Silver Falls, the fun track, few fire trails then back down The Luge.

We both rode pretty well considering how freaking hot it was today!

Great ride!

Mtb 48:30 [4] 15.3 km (3:10 / km) +200m 2:59 / km
shoes: Yeti ARC

Went for a quick blast to wake my leggies up. I came home early because my back hurt from the 4 hour drive back from Bicheno. I was impressed with how I rode though, really fast, really tidy and epically fun!

Average speed 19.3kmph!

Yay!

Mtb 2:20:00 [3] 33.8 km (4:09 / km) +150m 4:03 / km
shoes: Yeti ARC

Longer ride with Brittany. We started at Fern Tree, then rode Pipeline, over Tolman's Hill and then home.

Someone was very pooped out of the two of us, guess who?

Mtb 1:30:00 [4] 24.0 km (3:45 / km) +600m 3:20 / km
shoes: Yeti ARC

Bit of a mix for the Cyclingo group ride tonight.

Good bits-new tracks in Mt Nelson, one so freaking steep I couldn't stop if I tried, when it flattens out you can stop though, only to be greeted by the stench of smoking brake pads.

Bad bits-crashing my brains out. Over the handle bars on steep section of track and landing in rock garden. Swollen ankle +++

Great ride though, I was a bit tired after this morning so perhaps I didn't ride my best.... but it was still farkin fun!

Mtb 1:41:00 [2] 18.0 km (5:37 / km) +250m 5:15 / km
shoes: Yeti ARC

Nice quiet ride with Brittany around the college tracks. She was completely flogged after soccer training last night so we took it fairly easy.

Karate 2:00:00 [3]

Standard issue karate session. Long time since we have done kicks and my legs really felt it...

Mtb 1:37:00 [4] 27.0 km (3:36 / km) +600m 3:14 / km
shoes: Yeti ARC

Fully hectic ride today. I was by myself so I went seeking some fully hectic climbing to test my fitness. I rode the OG tracks, then Tolman's, signal station, the college and home.

I was really pleased with how I went overall. I haven't lost too much fitness from Christmas slacking. Average speed of 16.7kmph was really good considering how much climbing was done.

Great ride!

Mtb 1:20:00 [3] 21.1 km (3:47 / km) +300m 3:32 / km
shoes: Yeti ARC

Mountain run with Brittany.

*Extra extra read all about it*

Miss Quayle enjoyed Radford's track! She said it was super easy and it had been talked up to sound way harder than it actually was! She then continuously impressed me with her technical competence and rode pretty much everything the mountain could throw at her.

I am super dooper impressed!

Great ride!

Mtb 1:30:00 [2] 17.0 km (5:18 / km) +400m 4:44 / km
shoes: Yeti ARC

Nice ride around the local tracks with Brittany. We did a much harder ride today, with plenty more climbs to burn the legs. Brittany rode super well though, she's going to be awesome once fully trained up!

Karate 1:30:00 [4]

Super hard karate session in the national seminar. I was pretty pooped by the end of it!

Mtb 1:17:00 [3] 15.7 km (4:54 / km) +250m 4:33 / km
shoes: Yeti ARC

First ride for aggggeeeessssssss. Went with Miss Quayle around the signal station and some of the college. We would have gone further but a mechanical slowed us down and we had to be back by a certain time.

I spent most of the ride resting on the climbs and pinning the downhills to bed in my new brake pads. I also was playing around with the settings on my suspension fork after it had a service last week. I haven't quite got it dialled yet, I think the rebound is still set a bit fast, though it feels super plush with the decreased air pressure.

I'll have to continue testing until I get it sorted 100%.

Karate 1:30:00 [3]

Pretty big karate session as its the national seminar week. I missed most of it while I was in Cairns....

Note
(sick)

OH NOES! Got a massive cold now. I wondered why I felt so shocking at the top of Tolmans....

Mtb 1:23:00 [4] 20.9 km (3:58 / km) +400m 3:37 / km
shoes: Yeti ARC

Pretty hectic ride with Timmy. I thrashed myself senseless up the climbs today. Especially the Tolman's road section, locked out and everything! I wasn't riding the downhills particularly well, I felt a bit retarded actually.

Great ride though, seemed to go quite quickly even though I felt pretty tired. The average speed was quite low but considering the tracks we rode I thought it was pretty tidy.
