same course as last week. ran with warti and mani g. nice one. funny :)

uff. where should i start. first the weather. it was really ugly outside. a storm with up to 100km/h made running not funny and my hamstrings hurt right from the beginning from yesterdays workout.

i ran down to wartis place and then we run to the irrsberg. a hill between strasswalchen and steindorf. we ran up there (880m high) and afterwards via pfongau pretty much direct home. in the end also some parts over fields.

i was completely dead afterwards. now i feel ok but my hamstrings are killing me. i cant sit still longer than 5 minutes! :x i try to get them in shape with massage and a hot bath now.

warm up and cool down for the tempo run. felt great during the warm up but was completey stuffed during the cool down. strange, huh? :P

the tempo run. tried not to start too fast and i think i did pretty well. the hills are still killing me but i am satisfied with the result. and i was able to run through without a stop. i had no problems with the rips. it started to hurt twice during the run but i always slowed down a bit and could get rid off it again.

i guess i lost about a minute because of some horses blocking the road and some ice...

ran down to the school and did my little strength training there because mani had to do intervals on the bike. so i thought some company cant be wrong! :)

cool run with warti in the henndorfer forest in the dark. i felt really strong but it was quite hard to run on the parts with ice. i thought the moon is going to light our way but it didnt. no clue what went wrong. there were no clouds! :x

xc skiing with mani in thalgauberg. the track consists out of ice right now. we were just happy we had some mm snow on it. quite a challenge to keep the balance. but great training and we had sun. its an awesome day again. blue sky, sun shining...

ran with wati, rich and aish in the henndorfer forrest. we took the 2nd gravel road to the left ran down to the first under the heimkehrerkreuz and ran it back to where we came from. afterwards home via richis place.

warm up and cool down for the fastish run. 19:40 wup and 14:19 wdown. first 5 minutes of the wdown where walking...! :)

the faster part. was really nice. it looks like my gluteus is the weakest part as i got quite some pain in it after a while.

all in all i felt good. struggling a bit after the hills but i guess thats normal! ;)

warti picked me up at my place and we did our standard 90 minutes run in the henndorfer forest. mani also joined us in the beginning of the wood.
was really funny with them and it was warm. fells like spring right now. almost no snow left...

after working hard at richis place and removing a lot of ice i did my little strength workout i will from now on on every thursday. it includes the static core body exercises and push ups.

i felt good enough to compete in the austrian sprint ski o champs but i didnt. i also felt pretty bad when i came home and thought i am getting sick again. but right now i feel good. lets see how it will work out tomorrow.

presentation went really good today but i wanted it to be outstanding. so i am not really satisfied. the exam was ok but one question is wrong as i am just too stupid. anyway...

tomorrow i got an important day at university. lets see how it will work. i will not train before monday next week.

i cant remember when i didnt train at all for a whole week ... must have been years ago^^

ya ... u r right. still sick. my head feels like a jumbo and my nose is still closed. and i feel tired and weak all the time! damnit :x

got a presentation and an exam on friday morning. that means quite a lot work to do. anyway ... after that i am almost done with university until it starts again in the beginning of march. at least something i am looking forward to.....

did an easy run today. ran with the heart rate monitor to see if i am fit again but its still some beats too high. it isnt as bad as it might look as i can run up to 160 bpm for my basic training.

i felt perfect in the morning. no sign of being sick or something else. but i didnt want to go training to fully recover and start over again.

some friends still convinced me to play some soccer as they were just 7. so i said ok and played. it was real fun but i am not sure if it was the right decision...!
