Yellowwood Long Red map and track

Did pretty well, 1st in M35, strong finish overall on Red across all categories, good navigation, had to take some round about routes to avoid insane climbs, beautiful weather again. More to come soon including control-by-control breakdown for yesterday and today. Hopefully they put it on RouteGadget too. Maybe I'll QR it.

Details:

1- Mostly straight, spike
2- up to trail, down, up, back down, saw cliff which probably saved me, and spike
3- followed stream NW, contoured around hill to trail to save climb, trail intersection to launch me down hill to stream intersection, followed stream flat area NW till last right, up the steep reeentrant, spike
4- trail then followed along top of all the reentrants, the white was nice open and even had trail marker paint along the way, followed NW spur down to stream as AP and spike
5- followed stream NW till super steep reeentrant and hill by 5 and spike
6- trail S then W, followed contours down to stream, found the reeentrant and spike
7- stream west towards road, went around hill till SW stream took me to hill, contoured around the hill, spike
8- up monster hill to trail, didn't want to mess with going down again just to come back up through thick green, so ran trail around the valley, wen to open space but a bit too far south as I found the pit, attacked control from pit
9- down to stream and found curve in stream, eyes up for hilltop, a lot of possibilities at first so aimed off left then climbed to right elevation and attacked it from NW seeing top,of control from distance, spike
10- stream to trails to stream and spike
11- crossed big steep reeentrant overhead using big fallen tree bridge, a little scary but saved climb, trails around hill,trail stream intersection as AP, spike
12- stream, trails, power lines, spike
13- accidentally went to finish first then realized so ran from finish by streamers to 13
F- back to finish.
