Orienteering race (Water Crate New Forest) 46:53 [5] *** 6.5 km (7:13 / km)
rhr:72 shoes: Orienteering shoes

November Classic came 2nd in age class
Warm up was OK felt pretty relaxed at start.Used direct routes and marshes to keep in touch with map. Concentrated on leaving controls quickly. Looked ahead at course for tricky points.
Was a bit too fast, sloppy orienteering to 6 and went too safe at end. Pleased with run, no major mistakes and didn't run so fast that I was out of touch with map

Orienteering race (Oxford City Road race) 33:31 [5] *** 4.12 km (8:08 / km)
rhr:71 shoes: Running Shoes

Came 1st in veterans
Mistake to point one went off too quickly without settling down. Sorted out map and ran within limits. Didn't push on too hard to avoid making any major mistakes. Few tricky controls but otherwise fine.
