Interesting nausea during 2AM Puppy Pee Break. also, my feet hurt. which is to be expected given extensive gal-oping yesterday. Retro salmon loaf a la Betty Crocker, white trash "greens" to go with, kiwis, lil tomatoes etc, yum yum!!! Hope I still gotta lemon.

walking 30:00 [1]

1km puppy loop in scret location after visit to the vet. Rain has started up again. 1km commuter wander, nice quick pace on both outings...

felt horrid at 2AM Puppy Pee-Break, sore throat, digestion behaving "sub-optimally"... but with Mr. Coffee in hand, vacuum head cleaned, & Diana's belly-dancing veil ready to seam, I'm feeling a bit better about life. Abbreviated puppy loops on tap, downtown on train for transfusion, order-in for dinner. Last of the sunshine for a while, I think, yesterday afternoon on the patio was soooo-o-o great! Finished Sherlock Holmes last week, almost thru first of LOTR, keeping up british author theme...

walking 1:00:00 [1] 3.1 km (19:21 / km)

two short puppy loops about 0.5 km each, no dog attacks today which is nice, & then some assorted speedy almost Intensity Two shopping-banking-commuting across downtown to hospital toddles amounting to a bit over 2km scattered thru-out afternoon & evening. Yeha! wonder what kinda friday night takeout Dennis is gonna get...

annoying numbers of visits to restaurants this week & last. oh well. We will experiment with tempeh next week to make up for it, a new adventure in fermented food on the horizon!

Review of last two months - overall I would say I have felt very good and active and relatively low pain levels, often utterly exhausted by 9pm, but that's my deal, use it all up every day. Some fairly significant hip-twinge episodes but they actually seem to be diminishing! Thank Goodness I dont have wyattitis whatever that is...today I do have numbness in my L hand gotta work that out. R knee maybe grumpy, R elbow needs to be remobilized from last flare. Maybe I will do another very small stat bike experiment (or two) as well this month. More regular yoga-strength-remedial.That mandarin lady I picked up outside a few weeks ago (jan 9) always waves at me and Gypsy now, makes me feel good! Two medium puppy loops slated for today.
Oh, and husband pointed that he has given me lotsa rocks (jan 30) to wit, rose quartz, chiastolite, agate, & hematite among others. Plus a folding-paper-technology Element which is very like a tiny Landrover. So I'm set! Gypsy says time to drain-the-dog...

walking 50:00 [1] 2.5 km (20:00 / km)

stairmaster route down & back up 0.7 km; bike-park/blackberry farm loop 1.0 km; 0.8+km for commute components. Gypsy filthy after first run, added a bit to stairmaster as we went down sidepath into sandpit below end of stairmaster. Slopes & uneven ground good for ankles if uncomfortable & intimidating. R knee definitely crankybut needs to be more cranky to slow down.

nhggghh. no sleep due to witnessing a near-flawless familial performance of what is known in yacht-racing parlance (and maybe other parlances too) as a cluster-f**k, bowsprits & lifelines jammed up & if yer lucky the masts, booms, yards & rigging get in on the fun. And then you capsize en masse, & then another yacht runs you all over or at least prangs you good, & then you're sinking albeit slowly cuz the other three boats melded with you have SOME flotation to spare... Abbreviated puppy-loops & chicken-tofu cashews with chili jam & basil are thus only things slated to happen today. Perhaps a sleep-addled phone call or two to add to the familial joy? - if I could figure out who I wanna smack hardest...

Note

AOWN - juncos & a towhee on second puppy circuit. Gypsy saw them too. Too annoyed to count up km/time for loops today, so no log. Bleah

Yellow Dog Yoga 40:00 [1]
rhr:56 slept:7.0 weight:61.2kg

floor stuff has strong puppy components, good breath awareness, good synchronization; standing for 15 minutes' worth, really nice trees & prayer sequences. may rename this activity as there are always definite strength components for tummy, arms, butt AND remedial component for circulation in distal portion of left hand. Off to walk puppy - may do stair-master walk. Sometimes I feel like a trophy wife whose only job is to keep skinny, wear big rocks, & drive a 2007 Landrover, heheheh. Except I don't have a Landrover or big rocks.

walking 40:00 [1]

two puppy loops (part stairmaster loop but went bush-wallowing so incomplete) & a lightning visit to Choices. Had to nap in middle of day which nauseated me, but a lil tea, a lil Jurgen Goethe on the radio, and some vegan pasta preparation (sun-dried tomatoes, pesto, black bean sauce, ground almonds, garlic...) are setting me up fine. O-food tonight, no more restaurants for a day or two!!! Three organic blueberries for the puppy as a snack, nuthin's too good for our Princess.

swimming 20:00 [1]
rhr:58 slept:8.0 weight:60.8kg

swimming w/ Belinda.

Yellow Dog Yoga 15:00 [1]

range of motion & some fun water-supported yoga before & after swimming.

walking 50:00 [1] 2.3 km (21:44 / km)

puppy walks & briskness over to train station to go to Richmond for dinner. 11am walk in the mist mostly peaceful & pleasant (except when we went after a squirrel and got seriously tangled & emotionally jangled in the underbrush), saw two squirrels (as mentioned) & heard chickadee mob in bushes. Met Jack on the way back and flipped out completely with puppy joy. Odd chinese food (ie poor choices on my part) & then while clearing table, lady poured tea all over my lap for commute back to Burnaby, gee that got cold on the walk home, argggh! Comforted myself with dried figs...

rhr:60 slept:7.0 weight:61kg
