walking 25:00 [1] 1.3 km (19:14 / km)

0.4km/0.5km/0.4km, uninteresting commercial-purpose walks. Unsatisfactory day, altho can't point to any particular culprit. Will go to sleep & see if the next day is better.

walking 40:00 [1] 2.0 km (20:00 / km)

feeble puppy loop since she has indijiggers & resulting general layabout feeling, & I have some unspecified ailment giving me no symptoms except a feeling of general crappiness (malaise, medically) and a resulting layabout feeling. Maybe we will be more rocking this afternoon. Lacklustre destruction of paperbags in progress & I am considering a cilantro N toasted pumpkin seed pesto, the remnant of that tomato hummous w/ some WW tortilla crisps...what else for dinner?
Second puppy loop more substantial - did both market AND train station, VERY busy, and she blasted thru almost like a lil pro, still a bit nervous but we are getting the last few weeks of her brain's flexi-window well-stimulated. Don't want her totally wilderness oriented. To MY discombobulation, we ran into Miss Dog Expert & her outa control dog (not vicious, just running madly about) & I got some more gratuitous dog advice from her - this time I think I was glum enuf that she slowed down a bit on that - next time I'll try to be prepared to be postively rude & then perhaps she will start practicing her "come" & "heel" commands so as to avoid further intimate contact with us...arggghhh!

O-food shall consist of burritos from heaven. Fibrous, organic ingredients galore, charming & colorful little side-dishes, low-fat, and delicious. With the added "value" that the organic whole wheat tortillas are very fragile, giving the opportunity for fun food explosions if you lose your focus for even a moment.

Yellow Dog Yoga 25:00 [1]

floor sequences, added some stuff for L toes. Noticed my breathing could be VERY different for western bend, hafta look into it. Incorporated two out of twelve moves for core strength - if I did all twelve, I'd be dead but my core would be strong and svelte!

walking 20:00 [1] 1.0 km (20:00 / km)

wintery sunshine, met Whistler the gorgeous white Eskimo dog, felt groggy like I am coming down with sumthin, but air was nice.

walking 50:00 [1] 2.5 km (20:00 / km)

0.3km/0.4km/0.6km/0.4km/0.8 km various loops mostly timed apart enuf so feet only ache some. White-trash chicken (and tofu heheh, just for a twist) in the ancient style that eventually gave rise to "the Colonel"...back to the sod-roof roots of My People. On one side at any rate, the sod-roof people on the other side made do with potatoes...

tofu it is, and organic at that ! w/ broccoli, chard & carrots, kamut noodles, & some version of the spicey peanut-sesame vietnamese flavours. Maybe hummous cuz I gotta buzz up thos chickpeas sometime. Attack of the vegan orienteers. We bought Two-bite brownies last night on a whim oooooh what a Party that was, except not O-food at all. and not vegan either I am thinkin but I dunno why - what would cows be doing in brownies oh milk N eggs, right... D has cold. DANG.

swimming 13:00 [1]

focussed on breathing regularly & good slow efficient strokes. Got cold fast!

Yellow Dog Yoga 10:00 [1]

Before/after swimming - range of motion, cobra, warrior 2. put the bottoms of my feet into the water jets of the hot-tub, they tingled afterwards, I think that means they liked it. Surprisingly hips not as grumpy from stat bike as I thought - R hip bad for about an hour last night but fine today!

walking 35:00 [1] 1.75 km (20:00 / km)

walking w/ Gypsy - socialization up by store went pretty good, only very minor anxiety this time. Doing well on "walking", we go pretty fast but have sniff-times as well. 10 minutes of Intensity Four Kong Ball afterwards for G, I propped up a wall & swung my arm periodically. Second is new loop around the base of Taylor Park - many spider-monkey nests in long grass were rooted by Intrepid Spider-Monkey Nemesis Dog. Very brisk walk, fabulous, as the cleared fog turns to rain. Wonder if D got his test-flight in today...

Yellow Dog Yoga 30:00 [1]
rhr:58 slept:8.0 weight:60.4kg

floor stuff, hard to focus initially. L shoulder blade finally touches the floor during my twists! R elbow has remobilized nicely - ironic that chick who used to play king-hell racquetball and fence like a beast is now logging triumphs like she can still brush her own hair...oh well! Classic red sauce (turned out really good!) N kamut pasta, bake some nice bread to serve w/ balsamic vinegar, maybe some sweet peas....totally O-food! Hey, I signed up to review the protocol for subcutaneous bladeebla at St. Paul's - nuthin more fun than bein a guinea pig for medical science, just hafta see if the procedures will interfere too much with our summer orienteering & canoeing schedule.

walking 30:00 [1] 1.5 km (20:00 / km)

puppy loops. inspected the stream, bushwallowing for ankles & knees, we both are real filthy now. Found a dead flat rat. There is a squatter down by the stream in a tent, we did not disturb him. big fog, like living inside a pearl.

Iona Beach or not? light rain is NOT what is going on out there, that is some damn fine Snorkel Weather out there! Digestion etc as measured by 2AM Puppy Break is normalizing. In any case, Oat-cranberry-walnut pancakes on tap. W/ real maple syrup. That's O-food for ya!

walking 15:00 [1] 0.6 km (25:00 / km)

two utterly feeble puppy loops in heavy snorkel-wear, towing poor lil post-rabies-shot befuddled pup to Poo Hill and back. Maybe some yoga or sumthin this afternoon/evening - fee-BL...

stationary bike 5:00 [1] 1.17 mi (4:16 / mi)

weeeell, that experiment totally sucked, that REALLY hurts my hips, interesting to see what they have to say tomorrow, but that much pain while doing something is a message not to do it. So, probably other routes to gluteal fitness will be taken. Which suits me, I couldn't ever feel that the ol glutes were being recruited at all on the bike, they were feeling more like inert cushioning....plus the little circuit didn't come up this time. Did tell me I burned 14 calories tho, kinda cute.
