Hatter's Return Classic. Great map and really enjoyable course. Was having a pretty good run until I hit the "mature" mt laurel and messed up 12 & 13. Then my brain totally turned off on 15.

Just purchased a Garmin 305, and am looking forward to using the data to figure out what I'm doing well and how I lead myself into disaster. Quickroute is very cool... and sobering.

The good: pretty clean runs on 12.5 of the 17 controls.
The bad: going to 8, I allowed myself to go to far to the right and hit the uncrossable fence.
The ugly: 12 - imprecise map contact, no attack point, inefficient relocation.
The ugly: 13 - imprecise map contact, no attack point, inefficient relocation.
The ugly: 15 - brain dead, no distance estimation
About 35 minutes of ugliness in there...

I like Ian, but do not particularly like the pine hill map. Too green and thorny. Spent significant time lost, trying to move too fast, not taking the time to read the map, getting detracted by the thorny vegetation, and generally not having my head in the game - i should know better. oh well, good workout at least...
