Harriman State Park, NY. HVO Surebridge Challenge. Running Red again, I did not do as well as the day before. Day 2 was more technical. I was more tired before starting. I had set out to run harder which probably wasn't a good idea. I started making poor decisions at #2 and continued this through #4. I probably lost about 11 minutes alone on #4. #5 was fine for me but on #6, I mis-read it to be in a reentrant. I checked the length of one well past the cliff that it was on. Pavalina Brautigam. helped out there. She, Tom Overbaugh and I set off on a chase toward #7 which was fun. After some mis-direction, Pavalina got us on the trail route there. After #7, I pulled ahead in real time but not enough to salvage the day. I pulled-up early at #13 fortunate to have Yekaterina catch-up and get me on track again.
