Orienteering (Training) 1:27:38 [3] 6.42 km (13:39 / km)
spiked:10/12c

In Patuxent River Park, MD. Starting from the parking area, not the barn, I ran a portion of the QOC Blue course from March 2002. It was nice to be in the woods again. A little sloppy early but on-target after warming into it. There was more downfall than I remember in the center. Getting across Swann Pt. Creek and Half Pone was difficult to do while staying dry--looking for a crossing added lots of time. An extra beaver dam had been added on Half Pone Creek causing me to walk +20ft. on a log that was 4ft. over the water. From the leaves, it also looked like someone else had been re-running this route not too long ago. As for running, I was very weak from being sick but I'm still getting stronger. Start-1 (?), Start-2 (8:17), 3 (5:39), 4 (9:44), 5 (8:33), 6 (5:53), 7 (5:16), 10 (4:05), 11 (8:23), 12 (13:05), 13 (7:46), 14 (?), Parking (10:52).

From Quill Point Dr., roads around Northridge. Still hacking a lot.

Running (Indoor Track) 20:30 [3] 2.75 mi (7:27 / mi)

In UMD Cole Field House, MD. I've been sick ever since leaving Luxor, Egypt but am getting better. Ran slow but laboriously indoors with PGRC. My lungs were hacking and my feet plodding. The loop around the field house measures 1001ft or approximately 305M.
