Seneca Creek State Park, Lake Clopper Area, MD. I started already thirsty, from Riffleford Rd. and worked my way on the side of a long ridge. The woods in this area are mostly real nice! There's just enough deadfall, stands of mountain laurel, and other low vegetation to keep it interesting. I recorded several root stocks but wonder about whether to keep them on the map. I got to the south side of a power line cut and found social trail going into a neighborhood. There was a sort of dam, some ditches and a bit of vegetation boundary. I was getting tired and short on light so I walked a good way back without doing any real mapping.
