Orienteering race (NSW SL 15) 41:36 [5] *** 4.92 km (8:27 / km) +80m 7:49 / km
ahr:140 max:156 spiked:8/10c shoes: Mizuno Wave Diachi

Middle race at Mittagong. Odd course with remote start and street run (590m) to finish from remote last control. A bit slow to 1 but good through to 5 then big mistake at 6 when got very confused in the complex MTB tracks. Eventually relocated off a termite mound but blew about 5 minutes.

Good news is that the Achilles pulled up well after 3 runs over the 2 days but will not be counting any chickens just yet!

Orienteering race (NSW SL 14A) 21:50 [4] *** 3.34 km (6:33 / km) +15m 6:24 / km

Part A of sprint race at Oxley College. Poor start and took what seemed like ages to work out where I was and get to 1. After that was OK with just a few hesitations, like on the way to 18 when I thought the fence was impassable and went back and around only to find there was a gate! Didn't push hard whilst easing Achilles back into faster running but have dicky right knee at the moment. Really windy, with gusts up to 90 kph.

Orienteering race (NSW SL 14B) 17:20 [4] *** 2.51 km (6:55 / km) +23m 6:36 / km
ahr:152 max:171 spiked:21/21c shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus 20 Black

Part B at Tudor House. A better course and a better run with only issue not being able to read, at times, some of the fine map detail, like stairs. Wind was worse this arvo.
